men – gooleewan

Advocacy manOur men are important to our communities, women and children.

However many of us are suffering, and when we are not travelling well it affects our kids and partners, our extended families, and most importantly, ourselves. We have suffered many indignities over the years: some of our young men are lost, some of our dads are making their family suffer, and some of our Elders have such poor health that they can't give us the guidance and direction that we need.

Sometimes it is a struggle to get on top of things. That's where the Co-operative comes in. We offer many services and programs that strengthen the health and wellbeing of our men, and that restore the respect and dignity that many of us feel we have lost. We help people to help themselves, we help men to be their healthiest and best.
