Wathaurong COVID-19 Vaccine

GEELONG REGION

In partnership with Barwon Health, Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative Limited is delivering the vaccine to community members. Wathaurong community members aged 12+ can book to receive their vaccine through Wathaurong by calling 5277 0044.

The vaccines will be administered by Wathaurong Health Staff at the Barwon Health Ford Factory vaccination site.

BOOSTERS

You can now get your 3rd dose COVID-19 Booster 4 months after you have received your second dose. Many people will be eligible to get their boosters now - call Wathaurong on 5277 0044 to book your booster.

 

CHILDREN (aged 5-11)

As of January 10th 2022, children aged 5 to 11 years old are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Families can book in now to get the vaccine through Barwon Health online by clicking HERE.

Wathaurong will be running our own clinics for our community kids, more information on this will be provided to community as soon as possible.

As we have since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative will be working closely with Barwon Health and other health organisations to ensure that our kids can receive the COVID-19 vaccine in a safe and culturally friendly environment.

 

COLAC REGION

Colac Area Health are delivering the COVID-19 vaccine to our community in the Colac region. To book an appointment, contact Colac Area Health directly on (03) 5232 5100.
